Last week, two hearings were held in the International Court of Justice on South Africa's case against Israel for alleged genocide in Gaza. Commenting on the progress of the hearings, Palestinian Minister of Justice Mohammad Al-Shalaldeh told Sputnik that the African country's position in the court "is very strong."
South African lawyers are preparing a lawsuit against the United States and the United Kingdom, accusing them of complicity in Israel's alleged war crimes in Gaza, media reported.

"The United States must now be held accountable for the crimes it committed. [...] The US is busy spending more money and more resources to [allow Israel] to commit the crime. No one says stop, enough is enough," the lawyer was quoted by media as saying.
