MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Elysee Palace on Thursday unveiled the composition of new Prime Minister Gabriel Attal's government.
Stephane Sejourne, the leader of President Emmanuel Macron's Renaissance party and reportedly an ex-partner of Attal, was confirmed as the new foreign minister, replacing Catherine Colonna.
Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin, Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire, Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu and Justice Minister Eric Dupond-Moretti retained their posts.

French Education Minister Gabriel Attal Reportedly Appointed New Prime Minister
The ministries of sports and education were merged. The new ministry will be headed by Sports and Olympics Minister Amelie Oudea-Castera, while the education portfolio had been held by Attal since last July before his appointment as the head of government.
Rachida Dati, a justice minister in ex-president Nicolas Sarkozy's cabinet who now became the new culture minister, got expelled from her opposition party, Les Republicains, following the appointment.
