The Nigerian "Queen of Afrobeats" singer Tiwa Savage has filed a formal complaint with the police against fellow Nigerian-American
musician Davido, accusing him of threatening her.
Savage's police report, which was obtained by news sources, says that
Davido was upset by the post and considered it a taunt against him.
She reportedly said that Davido responded with "utterly very disrespectful, malicious and derogatory words" against her.
"In the event that anything untoward or harmful were to happen to me or any member of my family, I will like the members of the Nigerian Police force to hold Mr David Adeleke [Davido] responsible," Savage was quoted as saying.
In addition, Savage claimed that Davido sent out warnings to "be careful in Lagos," reports said.
"The actions of Mr David Adeleke are unethical and can be viewed as a direct threat to my life, privacy and dignity of my person," the singer reportedly said.
Davido is yet to respond to the allegations, the media reported.
