Senator Sheikin also expressed confidence that in 2024 Russian companies will reach new profit figures, as more and more partner countries will acquire the country's technological solutions.Speaking about the sanctions imposed by Western countries on the Russian IT sector, the lawmakers agreed that the restrictive measures "boomerang" on the development of IT companies of "unfriendly countries". Recently, many countries, including those in Africa, have expressed interest in technological cooperation with Russia. Last July, during the second Russia-Africa Summit, Moscow, African countries and the continent's leading integration associations signed a declaration on cooperation in the field of information security.
Russia will become a global technology donor for other countries in 2024; in particular, Russian software products and technological developments will be popular in Africa, Brazil, Argentina and even high-tech India, according to Russian parliamentarians interviewed by Sputnik.
"The tailwind trend has spread the intensity of the development of companies and shows that in 2024 Russia will become a global donor for other countries due to the interest of users themselves," Anton Tkachev, a deputy of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation (State Duma), told Sputnik.
His colleague Andrey Svintsov also believes that a large number of Russian software products will be in
high demand "even in India, which has its own super-cool development". Russian information technologies will be popular "in Brazil, Argentina, and even more in Africa," he added.
