MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Ivory Coast has pledged to send 50 million liters (13 million gallons) of gasoline per month to Guinea to help the western African neighbor cope with the shortage following a fire at a key fuel depot in Conakry, the chief of Ivorian Refining Society (SIR) said on Thursday.
"Guinea's demand is more than 60-70 million liters per month, but we can supply it with 50 million liters of gasoline per month. We have started working on a standardized contract, including terms of sale and pricing," Soro Tiotioho was quoted by the state-run Ivorian Press Agency as saying.
