On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the country's special military operation in Ukraine will be finished when Russia achieves its goals. According to the leader, there are 617,000 Russian military personnel at the Ukrainian front. He expressed confidence that Russia would win in the conflict.
Ukraine's victory over Russia is impossible, Western political and military leaders understand, and all their victorious statements are false, Serbian military expert Mitar Kovac told Sputnik.
"I believe that the Ukrainian top army authorities are increasingly coming to an objective assessment that this is impossible. Because of this, there are internal conflicts between the political and military leadership, mutual distrust," Kovac noted.
