Western Leaders Understand That Ukraine's Victory Over Russia Is Impossible, Expert Says

On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the country's special military operation in Ukraine will be finished when Russia achieves its goals. According to the leader, there are 617,000 Russian military personnel at the Ukrainian front. He expressed confidence that Russia would win in the conflict.
Ukraine's victory over Russia is impossible, Western political and military leaders understand, and all their victorious statements are false, Serbian military expert Mitar Kovac told Sputnik.
"I believe that the Ukrainian top army authorities are increasingly coming to an objective assessment that this is impossible. Because of this, there are internal conflicts between the political and military leadership, mutual distrust," Kovac noted.
As he noted, it is known from military history that such chaos is a sign of the coming collapse of the state.
"Now this is obviously manifested in Ukraine. I think the cracks will get bigger in the near future," the expert said.
On Thursday, answering the questions from journalists and citizens about the conflict in Ukraine, Putin highlighted that "there will be peace when Russia achieves its goals in the special operation."
"I am sure that the victory will be ours," the head of state underlined.
