In 2021, he was elected as a national deputy representing the city of Buenos Aires by the political coalition La Libertad Avanza. On November 19, Argentines went to the polls for the second round to vote between the candidates were Milei and Sergio Massa.

"The results were not what we expected, I contacted Javier Milei to congratulate him and wish him good luck because he is the president that the majority of Argentines have chosen for the next 4 years," Massa said.
