The Council for Algerian Economic Renewal (CREA) is a national employers' association that aims to contribute to the country's economic development. This week, it concluded its Entrepreneurship Days in the country's capital.
The President of the Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, declared on Thursday that there is no force in the world that can put pressure on the North African country, during a meeting with economic operators at the end of the days of entrepreneurship organized by the Algerian Council for Economic Renewal (CREA) at the International Conference Center (Algiers).

"Except for divine power, no force in the world is capable of putting pressure on Algeria [...] the country has reached the point of no return in fiercely defending its sovereignty," Tebboune asserted.

The president insisted that Algeria will crack down on all forms of abuse that have plagued the national economy in the past and cost the treasury billions of dollars.

"The fight against the forms of abuse that have plagued the national economy and cost the Treasury colossal sums, has been one of the challenges we have taken up with conviction," he emphasized.

Tebboune mentioned that some parties are nostalgic for the country's painful past and believe that they can put pressure on the state through economic policies, but "the train is moving and nothing can stop it."

"This minority category, which is trying to tarnish Algeria's image abroad, in no way represents the majority who are in perfect harmony with current economic policy," he stated, adding that this majority "is imbued with patriotism and a desire to highlight the efforts made by the State to relaunch the national economy".

The Head of State assured the economic operators that the country has entered a phase in which the file of the past and previous practices has been definitively closed, recalling that no party can exert pressure or impose intolerable actions.
This came in the wake of the annulment of the commission in charge of the import file, which "exceeded its prerogatives". The leader emphasized that his objective remains the construction, in cooperation with some friendly countries, of a powerful economy capable of generating wealth, satisfying the needs of citizens and gradually replacing imports.
CREA is the first public-private organization in the economic history of the North African country. It was created as a national association of employers organization that seeks to contribute to the economic development of the country.
