The Chinese manufacturer Dongfeng Motor Corporation plans to make its entry on the Algerian market, reported the portal Auto-Utilitaire.The manufacturer Dongfeng, known for its Mini-Truck type utility vehicles, has announced the upcoming marketing of its truck Captain W.According to the technical sheet that the manufacturer revealed on the social media page of Dongfeng Algeria, the Captain W has a single or double cab, equipped with a 1.3-liter, 85-horsepower engine. The single cab version of this truck has a load capacity of 2.5 tons. As for the double cab variant, the load capacity is estimated at 3.5 tons.This Mini-Truck will sell for 190 million centimes (approximately US$14,120). Among the models announced for the Algerian market are also the Aeolus, the Huge, the TS Evo, the SX5, the Rich 6 pick-up, available in single and double cab variants, and the Uvan Cargo van, according to the Algerian press.The access to the Chinese brand will be facilitated through a network of distribution agents spread throughout the country.
