The Al-Quds Hospital in the southern part of Gaza City has received evacuation warnings from Israel as the military is going to strike the medical facility, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said on Sunday. The humanitarian organization added that there had been raids 50 meters (164 feet) away from the hospital since Sunday morning. The medical facility now houses 400 patients and about 12,000 Gazans who sought refuge from continued strikes on the exclave, according to the hospital's data. Later in the day, Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus expressed concerns over the Israeli warning to evacuate the Al-Quds hospital. On October 7, Hamas launched a surprise large-scale rocket attack against Israel from the Gaza Strip and breached the border, killing and abducting people in neighboring Israeli communities. Israel launched retaliatory strikes and ordered a complete blockade of the Gaza Strip, home to more than 2 million people, cutting off supplies of water, food, and fuel. The blockade was later eased to allow trucks with humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. The escalation of the conflict has resulted in thousands of people killed and injured on both sides.

Israel Warns of Possible Strike on Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza Strip, Red Crescent Society Says
MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Following Hamas' attack against Israel on October 7, the country launched retaliatory strikes and ordered a complete blockade of the Gaza Strip. As a result of escalation, the death toll among Palestinians has passed 8,000, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. Meanwhile, the number of people killed in Israel stand at 1,400.
The Al-Quds Hospital in the southern
part of Gaza City has received evacuation warnings from Israel as the military is going to strike the medical facility, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said on Sunday.
"Urgent: [the Palestine Red Crescent Society] has just received serious threats from the occupation authorities to immediately evacuate Al-Quds Hospital in the Gaza Strip, as it is going to be bombarded," the PRCS said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The humanitarian
organization added that there had been raids 50 meters (164 feet) away from the hospital since Sunday morning.

Later in the day, Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus expressed concerns over the Israeli warning to evacuate the Al-Quds hospital.
"The [PRCS's] report of evacuation threats to Al-Quds hospital in Gaza is deeply concerning. We reiterate - it's impossible to evacuate hospitals full of patients without endangering their lives. Under International Humanitarian Law, healthcare must always be protected," he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
