MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Ukraine launched a counteroffensive against Russian forces in early June. According to Ukraine's Defense Minister, the country received over $100 billion worth of military aid from the Western allies since the start of Russian special military operation in February 2022.
EU countries are yet to agree on the revision of the bloc's multiannual budget, including the provision of financial assistance for Ukraine worth 50 billion euros ($53 billion) from 2024-2027, while vowing to further work on it until the end of the year, the European Council said on Friday

"Following its in-depth exchange of views on the proposed revision of the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027, the European Council invites the Council to take work forward, with a view to reaching an overall agreement by the end of the year," the statement read.

US Aid to Ukraine: What to Expect?
On Wednesday, A senior EU official said that the EU is planning to agree on providing assistance for Ukraine from 2024-2027 by the end of the year.
In June, the EU was preparing a financial assistance package for Ukraine worth about 50 billion euros, Bloomberg reported citing sources.
Later in September, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov informed that Kiev received financial and military aid from US and its Western allies since 2022. It includes about $100 billion worth of military aid from West and over $50 billion of military assistance from Washington.
Moscow has stated multiple times that the Russian military operation persists due to the continuing financial, military, and technological support provided to Ukraine by the West, which hinders efforts to resolve the conflict.
