MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The ZNPP is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe in terms of the number of units and energy output. It came under the control of Russian forces in early March 2022 and has since been repeatedly shelled by Ukrainian forces, raising international concerns over a possible nuclear accident.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky coordinates plans of offensives in the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions with curators from the United States and the United Kingdom, a source close to the competent authorities said.

"For these purposes, a large group of the Ukraine military marines is concentrated in the Mykolaiv region to force the Dnipro River. At the same time, the special forces of the special operations forces of the Ukraine armed forces, trained by UK instructors, are planning actions to seize the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant," the source said.

The source that "another gamble of Zelensky" could lead to tragic consequences, but Russia closely monitors the actions of the enemy.
In July, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that it was obvious that Western "curators" of Kiev are disappointed with the results of the counteroffensive launched by Ukraine.
"Today, it is clear that the Western curators of the Kiev regime are clearly disappointed with the results of the so-called counteroffensive, which the current Ukrainian authorities loudly announced in previous months," Putin said at a meeting with the members of the Security Council.
So far, there are no results of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, the Russian president said at the time, adding that the supply of weapons and foreign mercenaries and advisers do not help Kiev break through the front of the Russian army.
