Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the territory of the country’s Belgorod region, the Russian Defense Ministry said early Wednesday.
"On September 19, around 11:45 pm Moscow time [20:45 GMT], an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack against facilities on the territory of Russia using an aircraft-type UAV was thwarted. Air defense systems on duty destroyed the unmanned aerial vehicle over the Belgorod region," the ministry said in a statement.
