Serbia's Movement of Socialists, founded by the head of the Security Intelligence Agency (BIA), Aleksandar Vulin, submitted on Monday a resolution to join BRICS to the Serbian parliament. After 30 years, the world is becoming multipolar again and the "political hegemony of the collective West" is nearing its end, according to the resolution. Joining BRICS is supported by two-thirds of Serbian citizens who perceive it as an option "with prospects for rapid and high-quality economic and commercial development," the movement said. On Monday, Milorad Dodik, the president of the Republika Srpska, which is part of the Balkan federative republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), also suggested that BiH should join BRICS as it has difficulties with accession to the European Union. The authorities of the Republika Srpska will send to the authorities of BiH a formal proposal to consider this initiative, Dodik said on social media. BRICS currently includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Last week, the 15th top-level BRICS summit in Johannesburg extended invitations to Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia to join the bloc. Their full membership will start on January 1, 2024.

Serbia's Movement of Socialists, founded by the head of the Security Intelligence Agency (BIA), Aleksandar Vulin, submitted on Monday a resolution to join BRICS to the Serbian parliament.
After 30 years, the world
is becoming multipolar again and the "political hegemony of the collective West" is nearing its end, according to the resolution.
"The lack of open public dialogue, the imposition of the EU integration as a ready-made solution and the only possible way, accompanied by the Brussels administration's constant hypocrisy, as well as constant political blackmail and demands to give up parts of the country's territory resulted in Serbian citizens massively realizing that they are victims of manipulations by the collective West," the document read.
Last week, the 15th top-level BRICS summit in Johannesburg extended invitations to Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, the
United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia to join the bloc. Their full membership will start on January 1, 2024.
