Big Festival of African Cuisine to Take Place at Russia–Africa Forum
The second Russia-Africa Summit and Economic and Humanitarian Forum will be held on July 27-28 in St. Petersburg and is a follow-up to the first event of the kind, held in Sochi in 2019. Sputnik is serving as an information partner of the event.
The Big Gastronomic Festival, which will be attended by about 40 restaurants in St. Petersburg, will become part of the
Russia–Africa Forum, said Ekaterina Ivanova, head of the Creative Projects Directorate of the Roscongress Foundation.
"A large gastronomic festival will be held within the framework of the forum. About 40 restaurants of St. Petersburg will take part in it, the menu of which will feature sets of 3-4 African dishes," Ivanova said at a press conference dedicated to the cultural program of the forum.
