Ukraine has lost several infantry fighting vehicles and a tank in a battle. This is evidenced by a video shared on the Web, but not dated. This confirms claims that Kiev has lost a large quantity of Western-supplied armor.
A Ukrainian armored unit, including at least four US-supplied Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, was destroyed in fighting, a video circulating on social networks shows.
Several Telegram channels shared an undated 12-second clip on Saturday, which could not be independently verified, showing a Russian tank driving past a "graveyard" of Ukrainian heavy military equipment.
The video was reportedly filmed in the Zaporozhye region, around 50 km east of the Dnieper River.
The video shows what appears to be a group of four heavily damaged Bradley vehicles abandoned on flat ground, next to another vehicle, apparently an immobilized Ukrainian Soviet-designed tank, visible in the distance. The circumstances of the armored unit's destruction are unknown.

Heavy losses of foreign armor

During his meeting with Russia's President Vladimir Putin on July 23, his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko said that some 15 Leopard tanks and more than 20 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles had been wiped out in a single battle.

According to data made public last week by Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Ukraine's losses since the start of the counter-offensive on June 4 have amounted to around 3,000 pieces of military equipment and tens of thousands of servicemen.
Several Western media outlets have suggested that Ukraine has suffered significant armor losses during the counter-offensive. Business Insider reported last week that at least 34 Bradleys had been abandoned, damaged or destroyed.
According to the Pentagon, the US has supplied Ukraine with almost 200 Bradleys to reinforce Kiev's much-publicized counter-offensive against Russia, which Moscow claims has so far been unsuccessful.
