Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune arrived in Moscow on Tuesday for a three-day official visit to discuss bilateral relations between the two nations with his Russian counterpart, President Vladimir Putin.
Algeria and Russia intend to sign a number of agreements aimed at deepening relations between the two countries, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said on Wednesday at a Russian-Algerian business forum.
"The deepening of relations between Algeria and Russia will be supported by additional steps through the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding during this visit," Tebboune said.
The North African leader arrived in Moscow on Tuesday to hold talks with President Vladimir Putin and participate in the Russian-Algerian business forum aimed at exploring opportunities and prospects for cooperation between Algiers and Moscow.
"We appeal to Russian companies. Whether private or public, they can count on Algeria's support," Tebboune said at the forum.

Earlier this month, the Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper reported, citing sources, that Tebboune would discuss relations between the two countries before signing a new document that will complement the existing strategic partnership agreement signed between Russia and Algeria in 2001.
