According to latest data from the World Health Organization, 702 people were killed and 5,687 injured during the clashes between the two sides of the conflict. The UN International Organization for Migration (IOM) said that about 319,000 people have left Sudan since the beginning of the conflict.
The armed forces of Sudan confiscated a shipment of weapons intended for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the Red Sea province in the east of the country, media report, citing a source in the Sudanese army.
"We have confiscated weapons and ammunition from a foreign country in the Red Sea province in the east of the country," the source said.
According to the source, groups that interact with the RSF to supply them with weapons from outside Sudan were detained.
