According to the media, she died after a long illness at her home in Küsnacht near the Swiss city of Zurich.The artist received Swiss citizenship in 2013, and renounced her US citizenship.Turner (real name Anna May Bullock) was born on November 26, 1939 in Brownsville, Tennessee, USA.In St. Louis, Anna met rhythm and blues artist Ike Turner, the leader of The Kings of Rhythm.
