Talks have begun between the Russian and Hungarian sides on the production of vector vaccines in Hungary, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said.
"Negotiations have begun on the production of vector vaccines in Hungary," Szijjarto said after a meeting of the 15th Russian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic issues, recalling the assistance that Russian Sputnik vaccines provided to Hungary during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Commission co-chairman, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, said "cooperation in production and mutual supplies of pharmaceuticals and medical products continues," since "the pharmaceutical industries of both countries are known for the high quality of their products."
