The Russian fuel and energy complex plays a key role in the global energy market, so the decisions made at REW will have an impact on the development of global energy and the economy in the long term," noted Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.
"The REW 2024 program reflects the current challenges facing the industry today, including achieving technological leadership in the energy sector, its social orientation, and maintaining a balance between traditional and new energy sources to ensure the sustainable development of the country. Special attention is given to strengthening international connections within the fuel and energy complex and Russia's role in global energy [as] systemic changes in the world require new approaches to solving global issues.
