Kiev is a "sponsor of terrorism supported by France," according to a joint statement by the Burkina-Russia Coalition, the Pan-African Revolutionary Councils, and the African Network for Solidarity and Development.
The statement was released after a meeting of activists and supporters of the groups in Ouagadougou on August 31. Their meeting was aimed at demonstrating support for the transitional authorities and condemning Kiev's alleged involvement in terrorist activities in the Sahel.
The document also accuses Ukraine of becoming a proxy force for the West, deployed in hotspots around the world. It goes on to say that Ukraine, with the support of France, is actively recruiting Africans to fight in the war against Russia. The activists point out that Ukrainian embassies themselves pose a threat to African countries.
