The armed forces reportedly conducted precise airstrikes, which neutralized the terrorists, the outlet reported. The Malian armed forces confirmed their readiness to defend the country's population and its property in the territory of the entire Mali, according to Malijet.
Mali has been embroiled in an armed conflict between government forces, separatist militants, and Islamist groups since 2012. More than a decade of violent conflict in the country has led to persistent insecurity, climatic shocks, massive displacement, and a dire humanitarian situation.
