MOSCOW (Sputnik) - In June 2023, the Superior Council for Communication of Burkina Faso barred LCI from airing in the country for three months for spreading false information about the situation with violence in the country.
Mali has temporarily suspended the broadcasting of the French news channel LCI on its territory, accusing it of justifying terrorism and discrediting the country's armed forces, as well as inciting the destabilization of the internal situation, local media reported on Saturday, citing Mali's communications department.
