Kennedy Says Crimea ATACMS Strike Terrorism, ‘Act of War’ by US Against Russian Civilians
At the end of June, Ukrainian troops targeted Sevastopol, the chief city on the Crimean Peninsula, using ATACMS missiles with cluster warheads supplied by the United States. While four of these missiles were intercepted and destroyed, one was deflected and exploded over the city.
The attack resulted in the deaths of four people and injured 153 others, including children. Russia claims that the US provided Ukraine with intelligence and targeting information to carry out the strike.
Independent US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. subsequently stated that this attack amounts to terrorism and an act of war by the United States.
