Tunisian and Chinese Leaders Hold Bilateral Talks in Beijing

Prior to their bilateral meeting, Tunisian President Kais Saied was welcomed with a ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with the Tunisian President on Friday to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
"Under the new circumstances, China is willing to work with Tunisia to continue the traditional friendship, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and promote the China-Tunisia relations to a new level," Xi Jinping said during the meeting, adding that nations have consistently backed and assisted one another regardless of changes in the global environment.
Following their discussion, the two leaders attended a signing ceremony when representatives from both parties sealed an agreement to collaborate in a number of areas, including media, technology, health, and the economy.
