Allan Kipng'eno, a student at Kenya's Kabianga University, took to social media to show off the helicopter he built from scratch.
He used scrap metal and other available materials for his "air conqueror."
Kipng'eno told local media that the idea took flight shortly after he graduated from high school in 2019, and revealed that he continues to work on getting the helicopter off the ground.
Now the helicopter cannot take off because it has the wrong type of engine, the student said, adding that he is looking for a sponsor to make his dream come true.
However, the self-taught aircraft designer added that even without sponsorship, he remains committed to his goal of getting a bird's eye view from his helicopter.
According to him, this was his seventh attempt to build a helicopter.
