The armed forces of Sudan confiscated a shipment of weapons intended for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the Red Sea province in the east of the country, media report, citing a source in the Sudanese army.
"We have confiscated weapons and ammunition from a foreign country in the Red Sea province in the east of the country," the source said.
According to the source, groups that interact with the RSF to supply them with weapons from outside Sudan were detained.
