'Any Bloc That Wants to Succeed Cannot Do So Without Africa': Ghanaian Journalist
Africa’s greatest leverage is its dynamic, youthful population eager for new experiences, Thelma Taki told Sputnik Africa.
Russia has remained a true friend to the continent by offering scholarships to African youth and deepening ties across the region, she noted on the sidelines of the recently concluded third Russia-Africa Summit.
According to the speaker, key priorities for further Russia-Africa cooperation include:
🟠Local Job Creation: Transitioning from merely importing goods to building local food security systems that generate jobs.
🟠Digital Sovereignty: Partnering with Russia to own digital platforms, enabling Africans to share their narratives free from foreign algorithms.
🟠Tech Transfer: Leveraging Russian expertise to strengthen maritime fleets, revive national airlines, and advance healthcare technologies.
These partnerships must directly benefit African people, Taki emphasized.
