Russia's FSB foils Ukrainian plot to smuggle bombs inside FPV goggles to frontline troops
A Russian serviceman in the Volgograd region received two FPV goggles from a volunteer and, following military counterintelligence instructions, contacted the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) to have the devices checked
Bomb technicians using X-ray imaging found that Ukrainian special services had embedded improvised explosive devices inside the goggles — in place of the cooling fans
Ukrainian operatives posed as "patriots" to establish contacts with Russian charities and humanitarian organizations, trying to covertly pass the goggles to troops
