Seychelles Values Russian Security Cooperation to Protect Sovereignty & Combat Piracy, Says FM
The island nation has received "valuable assets" from Russia to bolster its national defense and presidential security, Barry Faure told Sputnik Africa.

Maritime Security & Piracy: The two countries signed a maritime security agreement this year and are moving toward its implementation. Russian naval vessels passing through the region assist in surveilling Seychelles' vast exclusive economic zone to combat piracy and other illicit maritime activities.
