Russia-Africa Summit Respects National Sovereignty: CAR President
Russia takes into account the concerns of its partner states, which appeals to African countries, Faustin-Archange Touadéra told Sputnik Africa in an exclusive interview during the 3rd Russia-Africa Summit.
"Our cooperation is long-standing, dating back to the Soviet Union. More recently, on security issues, Russia has provided our defense forces with the means to rebuild our army, notably through the dispatch of specialists who have assisted with training," he emphasized.
The president also advocated for a greater role for Africa in global governance, particularly in the UNSC, whose composition, according to him, reflects an outdated world order.
