Russia and Mali Sign Agreement to Combat Money Laundering & Financing of Terrorism
“The memorandum provides for an exchange of experience regarding the implementation of legislation in this area, as well as information on potential risks and threats,” the Russian Ministry of Finance announced.
The agenda includes:
🟠exchanging experience and information on risks,
🟠verifying clients and beneficial owners,
🟠holding joint conferences and seminars.
The objective: greater transparency in transactions involving precious metals and stones, and improved control mechanisms.
“Implementing these agreements will help strengthen professional ties between the relevant authorities of both countries,” the ministry emphasized.
