One Nation, One People: Zambia Marks 62 Years of Freedom to Ensure Future Growth
The country is proudly celebrating its 62nd Independence Anniversary under the theme "Zambia at 62: Our journey, our growth, our future," honoring the heroes who secured the nation's freedom.
In a congratulatory address to the nation, President Hakainde Hichilema highlighted the Grow Zambia Agenda, urging citizens to remain united and accelerate economic growth across agriculture, mining, and infrastructure.
The commemorations also featured a National Honors and Awards Investiture Ceremony at State House, recognizing 20 distinguished citizens for their outstanding contributions to nation-building, First Lady Mutinta Hichilema said on social media.
