Graduates of Russian universities now work across construction, medicine, politics, and other areas in Tanzania, making "a substantial contribution," Benelith Mahenge explained to Sputnik Africa.
Citing Russia's current approach "to invest and produce locally," the politician noted that young people who studied in Russia will find it easier to get jobs, as they understand the customs and language of their Russian counterparts.
"Russia is ready to cooperate and ensure that factories are built where resources are produced, rather than sending those resources to factories in their home countries, as was done in the past, and then bringing us finished products."
When going to Russian universities, young Tanzanians should specialize in new fields like AI and digital technology to "participate in the modern world," he emphasized.
