Mentorship and internship programs with Russian energy companies like Rosatom and Gazprom must be implemented to help African students studying in Russia translate their education into practical career opportunities, José Fernando Sambu, an official at the African International Congress, told Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week in Moscow.
Ensuring that students gain practical, applicable skills is crucial for their success and for the benefit of their countries, he noted.
Looking ahead to the third Russia-Africa Summit, Sambu outlined three key priorities for discussions in the education sector:
