Somalia Open to Ethiopia Using Its Ports for Trade: President Relations between Somalia and Ethiopia are now in a good place, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud told media. There is no objection to landlocked Ethiopia reaching the sea through "one, two or three Somali ports that it can use for imports, exports and all its commercial needs," he said, noting the country's desire for sea access for economic reasons. The two countries can reach an economic agreement on fees, tariffs and similar matters, and that they could discuss and agree on them, Mohamud added. Addis Ababa has not yet made such a proposal to Mogadishu, the head of state stressed.Subscribe to @sputnik_africa Sputnik Africa | X
