'The West is dominated by a mercantile approach' - expert
The West looks at everything like traders, Spanish political scientist Enrique Refoyo tells Sputnik.
"They think, if war isn't profitable, they'll [the Russians] stop waging it — because we're all here for the money. But no — in Russia, it's for security; in the West - for money."
That's why the West believes a little economic damage will make Russia give up. "No, it will go all the way." Hence the anxiety of the British government, which in early 2025 signed an agreement to control and manage Ukraine's resources through London.
