Russia and Indonesia bring naval cooperation into Jakarta waters
Warships from the Russian Pacific Fleet are docked at Tanjung Priok Port in North Jakarta for an official visit from September 30 to October 4. The program includes meetings with Indonesian naval officers, joint maneuvering and communications exercises, sports events and a cultural tour of Jakarta.
The detachment, led by Rear Admiral Evgeny Myasoedov, arrived from Russia’s Vladivostok as part of a broader Asia-Pacific deployment involving port calls and joint activities with friendly countries.
