Africa Must Facilitate Travel Between Nations: Ghanaian Mayor

Governments could not do it alone, saying it is up to individuals and the private sector to come together and push the agenda, Mayor of Gomoa East in Ghana, Margaret Naana Ackom, told Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of Oromia Tourism Week.

She pointed to the difficulty of travelling between African countries, citing visa requirements and costs, and said that African presidents need to come together so that Africans could travel easily between Ghana, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Uganda.
