Russia “knows this African country well,” Allassory Sankhon stressed in response to questions from Sputnik Africa following a ceremony commemorating the 68th anniversary of Guinea’s independence.
In his speech on the occasion, the diplomat stressed that relations between Moscow and Conakry were established “from the very first hours of independence.”
Governed by numerous agreements, this partnership covers strategic areas such as defense and security, arms purchases, education, and healthcare.
