Africa Can Now Lend Capital to Countries Outside Africa: Kenyan Expert
Africa has reached a new stage where the continent can meet its own financial needs through its own capabilities and achieve greater self-reliance, CEO of the College of Insurance Kenya Ben Kajwang told Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the 2nd Finance Forum.
"Africa can now generate or has already generated its own capital and can now utilize it appropriately, including creating even other lending institutions to lend to even those other continents or other countries outside Africa."
The 2nd Ethiopia Finance Forum was held in Addis Ababa from September 29 to October 1, 2026, organized by the National Bank of Ethiopia under the theme "From Stabilization to Transformation: Sustaining Ethiopia's Macroeconomic Reform Momentum."
