Sudan Calls for 'Just Peace,' Demands End to External Interference at UNGA Comprehensive and lasting peace in Sudan cannot be achieved without ending persistent external interference, halting the flow of weapons, ammunition, and mercenaries, and dismantling the terrorist militia, FM Salim Ahmed Ibrahim told the 81st UNGA.The diplomat also called for stopping attacks on civilians, cities, infrastructure, and medical facilities, disarming the militia, and ensuring arms remain exclusively in the hands of the state and its legitimate institutions.
