Lavrov held 50 meetings on the sidelines of UN General Assembly - Russian MFA spox
"During these three incomplete days that we spent there, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had about 50 meetings. Of these, 42 rounds of full-fledged negotiations... forty-two ministers, prime ministers, heads of state came to the Russian delegation's room for such traditional negotiations,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told Russian media.
After Lavrov spoke at the Security Council and the General Assembly, he held a press conference lasting more than an hour for Russian and foreign correspondents accredited to the UN, answering questions, Zakharova said.
