Nigeria's Dangote Refinery Stock Hits 631 Million Liters as Petrol Imports Fall 26%: Authority
The refinery ended August with 630.9 million liters of refined products in stock, including 360.4 million liters of petrol, 137.2 million liters of diesel, and 133.3 million liters of aviation fuel, according to the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority.
Key details:
🟠During the month, average daily petrol imports fell 26% to 14.6 million liters, while domestic petrol receipts rose 39% to 35.9 million liters per day.
🟠The refinery supplied about 71% of the country's total petrol receipts, with an average capacity utilization of 105.21%.
🟠Diesel imports also dropped sharply by 84%.
🟠Crude oil receipts by local refineries rose 17% to 683,000 barrels per day.
🟠State-owned refineries in Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna recorded no production.
