Kiev Undermines Africa's Sovereignty by Recruiting People for Fighting Against Russia: Sudanese Expert
Ukrainian military intelligence has operated inside Sudan, while Kiev also runs a legion of foreign fighters, Dr. Mohammed Hussain AbdAlwahid Mohammed told Sputnik Africa.
This makes Ukraine “an armed actor on African soil, not a distant victim of it,” he said.
According to the Sudanese expert, such foreign involvement undermines African sovereignty and represents a “deeper colonization,” as the West maintains a near-monopoly over narratives surrounding the conflict and decides who Africans should view as victims and villains.
His comments come after a video circulated online showing a Sudanese man who said he was lured to Libya with promises of security work, only to find himself in a camp where he was forced to sign a contract to fight against Russia.
