Uganda's National Environment Management Authority Launches Grants for Practical Environmental Research: Media
Through the Research and Innovations Grant Scheme, the institution will implement a five-year action environmental framework, local media reported.
"Through the scheme, eligible researchers, academic institutions, and other stakeholders will receive support to generate evidence for policy, planning, regulation, and decision-making," NEMA stated.
The framework directs investigations into:
🟠climate change;
🟠waste management;
🟠biodiversity loss;
🟠unsustainable land use;
🟠natural-resource degradation.
