Uganda's Lake Victoria Plagued by Deadly Crocodile Attacks in Kalangala Area: Media
The latest victim was a 21-year-old student, who was attacked while helping his three younger siblings board the boat, a local TV station reported.
Residents of several settlements on the Ssese Islands have urged the Uganda Wildlife Authority to take urgent measures to protect the public, the report said.
The attacks are disrupting daily life and making access to the lake increasingly dangerous, according to locals.
