AES Energy Fair: Mali, Burkina Faso & Niger Push for Joint Mining & Energy Development
AES countries share similar geology and must collaborate to develop their mining and energy resources, Boureima Jiguiba, a member of the Malian delegation, told Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the Energy, Mines and Hydrocarbons Week of the Confederation of Sahel States (SEMH-AES) in Ouagadougou.
Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger must pool their efforts to stop exporting raw materials and process them locally for the benefit of the AES people, he noted.
The SEMH-AES took place on September 14-19 in the Burkinabe capital to enhance economic sovereignty and energy security of the AES countries.
