BRICS Can Be 'Instrumental' in Africa's Development, Says South African Entrepreneur
The bloc has a key role to play in Africa's development, particularly as alternative trade models emerge, Karlind Govender, co-founder of the Friends Of BRICS+ Society, told Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the Second World Public Assembly in Moscow.

He called for transforming the banking sector to promote "financial inclusion and economic dignity," adding that "banking is a human right."
